  • I took this in March in Sintra, Portugal! It's at the fairy tale castle Pena Palace :). This is one of the lovely close-up views. It's is a Romanticist castle that stands on the top of a hill in the Sintra Mountains. And undoubtedly one of the most iconic places in Portugal. And a dream come true to visit it! It is a national monument and constitutes one of the major expressions of 19th-century Romanticism in the world. The palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal. Wonderful small hotel (8 rooms). Large room and well designed bath/shower. Friendly and attentive staff. On a sunny day the meals are served in a wooded area with beautiful views! An easy walk into Sintra.

This is a charming hotel converted from a prior estate on national park grounds. The staff are extremely friendly and frequently provided assistance when needed. Wild peacocks stroll the grounds each morning. The rates are very reasonable given the quality of the hotel.

The building and grounds are as beautiful as they appear in the pictures. The location is next to one of the many palaces Sintra has to offer and it’s a quick walk into the historic town center. I cannot say enough about how lovely and accommodating the staff members are at this place. They went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed.

The hotel was a boutique hotel with beautiful surroundings. We had a lovely one-night stay. The lady staff at the front desk was very helpful and lovely. The lunch was good, and they accommodated our diet restrictions at the restaurant. The breakfast was not included, so we paid extra for it with limited options. The lady at the restaurant was very nice, She was able to get us cooked eggs and coffee in the morning. The hotel should offer more breakfast options for the guests for the cost we paid. The Uber driver had trouble finding the hotel location because the address was not correctly displayed. This needs to be corrected by the hotel.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Quinta dos Lobos! The staff was incredibly helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to old Sintra and transportation to the sights around Sintra but far enough out of town to have a very relaxed atmosphere with beautiful views. Our room was gorgeous, quite large and cozy but also modern.

We arrived from the US early in the morning an decided to spend one night in Sintra before driving to Porto. This was the perfect spot! The staff was super friendly. Had parking which was KEY for us. Shower was awesome and bed comfy. I will definitely recommend.

This wonderful old Quinta has been lovingly and tastefully renovated and feels very inviting. The lush grounds are enchanting and atmospheric. The staff is warm and dedicated. And all this is just a 5-minute walk from the Quinta da Regaleira. Amazing. We loved our stay and can't wait to return.

Absolutely stunning boutique hotel with each room is designed differently. The grounds are spectacular. Breakfast was delicious - made to order with large selection of options. I recently stayed at the hotel for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The location just outside of town was perfect, as it provided a peaceful atmosphere while still being within easy walking distance of the city center. The outdoor seating area was a particular highlight, as it allowed me to enjoy the beautiful greenery that surrounded the property. The breakfast was also very nice.
