"The hotel has a very nice pool. The rooms are a nice size. It's about a 15 minute walk down hill to the sea. The staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was advertised but we never did see anyone or any food at the designated breakfast spot"

"Incredible location, beach front and property. Service was solid across the board and the breakfast was fantastic. But what put this hotel over the top was the activities and programming. Tania was the yoga, pilates and aqua fit instructor and she was amazing. Like having our own personal trainer and so friendly. Very highly recommend!"

"We had an amazing stay! The staff were so nice and helpful, and had very good recommendations. The neighbourhood was great, there are loads of tavernas and the nearest beach is only a 10min walk. We found that the bus system to get to Chania was very good as well, only 15mins. The room was very comfortable and was cleaned everyday, the only negative being that our bathroom was quite small. The pool is amazing, because it’s a small hotel it was never too crowded, no towel wars here! If we ever come back to Chania, we would stay in this hotel again."

"Cosy, comfortable room of good size. Bathroom worked fine and was spotlessly clean. Staff communicated before and during stay, they offered room cleaning each day and they helped us get laundry done. Small kitchenette worked fine and Wifi worked throughout stay. Pool was clean and well-maintained with shared toys available for children. Located close to bus stop, 15-minute walk from beach and 5 minutes from local taverna. Good value. We would stay again."

"Can’t wait to go back. We were originally staying in a villa but the host cancelled a week before we flew out. The team at Okeanis Elysium couldn’t have been more helpful. We spoke to them directly and they were upfront about the remaining work being done at the hotel but sent pictures of the rooms, private pool and communal pool (all immaculate). We used their neighbouring hotel for breakfast which was great and despite the occasional noise of renovation work being done, we found most of it came from another building close by that had nothing to do with them. The staff were so friendly, we got to see images of how everything will look when 100% completed. Looks amazing and very high end. At the pace of the work being done during our 1 week holiday, they will be completely finished very soon and we can’t wait to go back again. Too many hotels have images from 10-15 years ago and look outdated when you arrive. This place is BRAND NEW!"
Porto Kalamaki Hotel

"Vi hade en fin vistelse på Porto Kalamki. Vårt rum var nyrenoverat, rymligt och mycket välstädat. Att vi fick rummet högst upp med den bästa havsutsikten förstärkte såklart vår upplevelse. Hotellet ligger nära centrum och bussar går bara 100m utanför hotellet till stan men även till de bästa stränderna på några minuter. Personalen var mycket hjälpsam i alla våra frågor och resturangen hade tidigare gäster mycket rätt om- maten är god och till mycket rimliga priser. Det enda som drog ner vårt betyg något var att det är ganska lyhört från trafiken. Då hotellet ligger vid en genomfart (på gott och ont) som tyvärr är mycket trafikerad kunde vi inte stänga ut ljudet om nätterna vilket kan vara bra att veta för den som är ljudkänslig. Överväger du att bo här, vilket vi absolut rekommenderar så packa med enklare hörselskydd för den optimala vistelsen. Vi tackar hotellet så mycket för all hjälp och särskilt för att vi utan problem kunde lämna vårt bagage och sedan få duscha och göra oss iordning sista dagen trots att vårt flyg åkte många timmar senare än utcheckningen. Det betyder mycket för barnfamiljer som oss. Smidigt och omtänksamt. Tack för allt portot Kalamaki, önskar er alla det bästa!"
