"Very friendly host/owner. The place is a family run hotel. The building itself is an old townhouse along the main road near Cherbourg. No elevator available , as usual for this type of building. Great breakfast and very welcoming."

"Just pulling out La Ferme des Mares, a charming establishment that provides everything except showers and an apology or discount for providing showers. Should you decide to visit, my advice is that you check the hot water before accepting the keys so that you don't have the unhappy experience of discovering an ice cold shower upon waking the next morning. And no one at the reception to assist you until 8:30 AM when you need to check out."

"Les propriétaires du gite sont au petits soins même quand on arrive vers 22h. Tout est impeccable avec de bonnes choses à manger et beaucoup de petits plus. Je vais revenir dans ce gîte dès que j aurais à travailler près de Cherbourg. Je recommande vivement."

"Très calme donc bien dormi mais pas de télé ni de wifi coin cuisine frigo sale pas d'état des lieux en arrivant donc j'ai demandé à le faire en partant car on dû nous fournir nouvelle cafetière et micro onde vu qu'il manquait verseuse four manque plaque le personnel au top salle de bain rouille autour "
