Good, out of town hotel

Hotel was clean and fresh. Next door to diners, so very easy. Also very close to major routes out of Cherbourg.

Comfortable reasonable for price

Comfortable room, unfortunately on loud road which cannot be helped. Spacious bathroom. Large bed. Receptionist did try and get us to pay again but eventually accepted we had paid. Did not have the breakfast so cannot comment. Conveniently near several restaurants and large supermarket.

Value for money Hotel in Cherbourg

Hoyel was good value for money, good rooms, good breakfast. Our only problem was trying to book in when reception was unmanned. Very complicated and card reader failed when we finally got auto check in to work. Fortunately the receptionist arrive and book the rest if my party on.

We did not like this hotel at all. There was a lot of noise as the hotel did not have AC so we had to leave the window open. The room was very dirty and small. We do not recommend this hotel.

Property close to hippodrome, limited No.4 bus service due to Easter holidays, but got me there and back to the ferry. All as i was expecting from the hotel but reception not attended so need to gain a passcode from the machine outside of the building. Digits on keypad need pressing hard as didnt work first few attempts

Could not get the payment to go through st self checkin. Rung the helpline numerous times with little assistance. Kept saying try again. Another family arrived and the same happened to them. Got into room after a hour, which did not look like the picture on the website. Then manager had to come to our room to take payment. Very poor service. Will not be staying at this hotel again.

Les +: Personnel très agréable. Chambre propre, bonne literie. Petit déjeuner complet. Les -: Le robinet du lavabo de la salle de bain fuyait. Et la route extrêmement passante à proximité peut rendre la nuit un peu bruyante.

Surpris en arrivant par l accueil dans un bureau non rangé ou traîne des documents sans doute obsoletes Manque de place pour les déjeuners ,tables desservies par les clients Nos amis les bêtes sont les bienvenus mais la overdose des chiens partout je vous laisse imaginer la propreté des chambres. Fidèle de cette chaîne d hôtels je regarderai dorénavant plus en détail les appréciations des clients A ne pas refaire a Cherbourg

Déception. Je n'attendais pas un service Palace mais au moins que la chambre soit dans un bon état... Douche qui fuit, toutes les touches de la télécommande effacées, et le pire porte qui ne ferme pas à clé, qui ne se clanche qu'en forçant. Petit déjeuner médiocre.

A mon arrivée à 21H30, plus d'accueil physique. Et je n'avais pas eu communication de mon code d'accès. J'ai essayé avec mon numéro de voyage mais sans succès. Heureusement, il y avait un interphone où j'ai pu avec quelques minutes d'attente obtenir mon code d'accès à rentrer avec précaution. Après 30 minutes, j'ai pu accéder à ma chambre...où il y régnait une très forte odeur de tabac malgré la fenêtre restée entrouverte. J'ai passé la nuit dans cette chambre et mes vêtements mêmes non-portés ont été imprégnés de cette odeur.
