"Arrived and room had mechanical problems with HVAC, fans, remotes for the television. Asked to speak to a maintenance technician to address the problems, hotel staff became very obnoxious with me. Was eventually switched to a new room that had the same problems and more. Left within an hour of arrival and am working on a refund due to the unsafe and poor conditions of the rooms causing me to have to find a new hotel to stay at. "

"Das Estaphany liegt etwas abseits vom Zentrum Sosúas und somit erheblich ruhiger. Es hat einen schönen Garten und einen Pool, der regelmäßig gereinigt wird. Die Zimmer sind eigentlich richtige Wohnungen mit Küche. Wir hatten die Wohnung Nummer 10 mit einem fantastischen Schlafzimmer: ein riesiges Bett mit sehr guter Matratze, hell und luftig. "Staff was great and very nice. A very good budget option for someone with a rental car. I rented the studio and it was comfortable and clean. The hot wat sometime does not come one but it only happened like 3 times. This is my second time staying here and it has improved a lot since the first time."

"I would like to thank the staff member at the front desk who checked me in and did everything possible to fix my issues. First two rooms I was given the AC wasn’t working too well but they changed my room to one of the newer rooms, which worked out well. "The staff were friendly and nice. The challenge was not being fluent in Spanish. The hot tubs and jacuzzi's throughout the property did not seem to want to get warm or have bubbles and I honestly couldn't get the staff to understand what I was looking for, or how to make it work. "
