"There is no central heating in this place; A gas heater and a fireplace are available. The staff offered to start the heater, which we accepted, and a box of wood was provided for self-servicing the fireplace. The gas heater turned off after 10 minutes cause the gas tank was almost empty. Not an issue for us but if you are expecting exclusive adults only, then this is not the place for you. If you are expecting 5 star luxury, then this is not it. "Lovely bedroom, clean and comfortable, decent breakfast (continental mainly) and gorgeous setting. Well placed for local walks, location pretty insignificant and no facilities at hotel to relax or sit outside when weather tricky, which was most days because we encountered bad weather. If you are happy walking every day in any kind of weather this is for you. "
