An absolute gem of a hotel! This is such a unique property with an absolutely gorgeous botanical garden. Even from the moment you walk into the lobby, you are greeted by spacious, beautifully decorated interiors and a wonderful view. The staff here are incredibly nice and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here!

Superb hotel, one of the best we have stayed at through many years of travel. Reception staff and doorman were friendly, most courteous and helpful. Enjoyed excellent breakfast and dinners, particularly in the Thai restaurant. Service was exemplary, room was spacious, spotless and most comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. Our only regret was staying fior only two nights. It warranted more and we hope go return. Highly recommended

What an amazing hotel, one of the best 5* hotels I have stayed in. Everything was done to an exceptional standard, the welcome, the room, the cleanliness, the decor, the spa, the food and most importantly the staff. They helped make it a superb holiday, a couple of minor issues like no milk was left, but it was sorted out instantly. Nothing was ever a problem and the staff would help if we ever needed. Breakfast was plentiful with many options to suit all palates and lovely eating breakfast watching the birds in the aviary next to us! The three evening restaurants were all absolutely stunning, with very tasty food and excellent service. We also took the opportunity to go to Brunelli's, an extremely nice steak restaurant with amazing food, sublime view and excellent service.

It’s a large hotel, yet it still feels cozy and welcoming. The spacious facilities were excellent, and the property is within walking distance of the shopping area, great restaurants, and the botanical garden. The staff were truly outstanding and made the stay even better.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in – and I have travelled a fair bit. The decor in the public spaces and in the room itself was exquisite. The staff were always smiling and helpful. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal in terms of quality and the range of choice. The gardens are magnificent and well tended. Look for the black swans! The spa was amazing. Our package allowed us free use of the spa. If we wanted a specific treatment we paid for it. The spa included two outdoor pools, one with jets, a jacuzzi in a grotto, and indoors there was a thermal treatment circuit available without charge which included three steam rooms, a sauna, an ice room, a jacuzzi, a very warm swimming pool, and a room with water beds. We tried two of the three hotel restaurants and especially liked The Oriental. We liked the aviary beside the breakfast area and it seemed well tended. There was live music in the large bar off the lobby every night. It was always at least OK but one night there were two tenors singing songs from opera and pop music and they were absolutely outstanding. There was a free shuttle bus down into the town of Puerto de la Cruz which we made use of several times. The location, near the La Orotava Botanical Garden, is nice and there are several restaurants and cafes within a few minutes' walk. It's easy to get the bus from near the hotel if you want to make a trip to La Orotava (which I recommend) or Santa Cruz, the main town of Tenerife. Altogether fabulous!
