"We booked this accommodation for 4 adults and 3 children, but there were only sleeping places and breakfast provided for 6 people. This was already unacceptable, but it gets worse: the place was also dirty, clearly not cleaned properly before our arrival. Hôtel Restaurant Au Val Doré

10/10 Excellent

"The check-in staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean, the bed comfortable, plenty of storage space and there was a desk with a chair - useful for working. The hotel is at the eastern end of the main street so it is a stroll to the shops and restaurants - of which there are many. Altogether a good place to stay when visiting La Bourboule."

"The room was clean and had everything we needed for a 1 night stay. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The food in the restaurant was so tasty and I would recommend eating there. The bathroom was a little small and the wifi was a little spotty but overall the stay was good. "

"The view of the mountains was great from our room, but there was nothing not to like. Rooms were really clean. The receptionist was amazing, it was a busy weekend when we stayed with a race on in Mont Dore (which we hadn’t realised) and she rang three restaurants to get us a reservation. She was amazing! Breakfast was great too. Fabulous, thank you. "
