J'ai prévenu l'hotel le cantou vendredi 19 décembre que nous venions d'avoir un accident de la route . un fourgon de livraison nous a grillé la priorité à un rond-point juste avant Guéret dans la Creuse et ma voiture ne pouvait plus reprendre la route , dans l'impossibilité de nous rendre à notre location , nous avons annulé notre sejour , comment cela se passe pour le paiement de ma réservation . A propos du paiement , vous avez fait l'erreur de nous facturer 2 fois la nuit du 19 au 20 alors que nous voulions réserver la nuit du 19 au 20 et du 20 au 21 décembre , nous sommes des clients fidèles , j'attends de vous un geste commercial ; merci

Une belle étape au calme, près de Clermont-Ferrand

Après la surprise d'être hébergés non pas à l'auberge du Cantou mais dans un petit hôtel voisin du même propriétaire, nous avons apprécié cette étape : l'hôtel est vieux mais les chambres sont refaites à neuf. La nôtre était au 2ème étage, accessible par escalier raide en bois, spacieuse, très propre, les sanitaires impeccables et la vue surprenante sur la basilique voisine. Très bon diner typique auvergnat (truffade et Aligot) à l'auberge Cantou... et le lendemain matin, autre belle découverte : Laeticia, la chaleureuse hôtesse communiquant gentiment ses secrets culinaires locaux...

Etape dans le petit village auvergnat et séjour dans cet hôtel modeste mais agréable, propre et confortable.
