We absolutely loved our stay at Dana in Langkawi. The quality of the hotel and rooms is fantastic. The private beach and views of the Andaman Sea are stunning. Very well maintained hotel with a really charming old world luxury feel. Amenities, pool and F&B are top notch. The best part is how well the staff looked after all the guests. Special shout out to Saiful and Donna for taking very good care of us and making our stay comfortable.

Breakfast options were good Minor considerations - - Terrace restaurant was nice but expensive -7Pm pool closing time seemed early - maybe more variety of evening entertainment -same duet but also conscious we stayed 6 nights which is longer than most guests Be interesting to see the impact of the Marriott hotel being built nearby - this did create some noise disturbance.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at The Danna. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff made us feel incredibly welcome. From the porters, concierges & reception team to housekeeping, the F&B staff & the Resort Manager, everyone was professional, warm & cheerful, & nothing ever seemed too much trouble. Remarkably staff appeared to know which room we were staying in, how long we had been there & even how much time remained of our holiday. We were made to feel very special, something we saw being extended to all guests throughout our stay. We're not usually ones for any fuss, but all the thoughtful touches were delivered so discreetly and naturally that it simply enhanced the experience. Our room (419), a Grand Marina View room, was exceptionally spacious & comfortable, with a king-size bed, armchairs, dressing table, two wardrobes, plenty of storage, a large balcony & a large bathroom with a bathtub, walk-in rain shower & double sinks. We also appreciated the daily replenishment of filtered water, Nespresso pods & TWG tea bags, along with delicious gluten-free sweet treats to accommodate a dietary requirement. Housekeeping was outstanding throughout (with special thanks to Karmila, Fatin & Amim for their excellent service). The restaurants were all superb & catered for allergens very well; staff awareness & knowledge of ingredients made us feel confident we were in safe hands. Special thanks to Hakimi, Ilah, Fatihah, the Chefs & all the F&B team.

The Danna was simply perfect. The best hotel we have ever stayed in. Amazing pool and beach. Great food. Lovely room. And the staff were all incredible. The Danna Langkawi is a beautiful resort with an elegant atmosphere and many positive qualities. However, several service issues prevented our stay from meeting the five-star standard we expected. Both check-in and check-out involved considerable waiting and could have been handled much more efficiently. We were also disappointed with the BBQ buffet dinner. The food selection felt limited, and the long queue at the BBQ station made the experience less enjoyable. The biggest disappointment was the spa. The massage quality was below expectations, and during our treatment the two therapists repeatedly talked to each other and even appeared to have a discussion. This significantly affected what should have been a quiet and relaxing experience. Overall, The Danna is a beautiful property with great potential, but these service inconsistencies made our experience closer to three stars than five.

From the first entrance, this is a stunning hotel. Elegant design and well maintained with the most helpful and friendly staff. Stunning sea views. Well maintained grounds with lots of water features. The rooms are very large, well designed and appointed. No danger of running out of the excellent products in the spacious bathroom which has a huge sunken tub and separate shower. Excellent spa treatment area. Well priced. Again no skimping on products. The women working there were super friendly and helpful. Great dining options. Good choice at breakfast. You could tell the staff enjoyed working there. Loved it. 2 nights was far too short a stay. It will be worth the 13 hour flight to visit again.

We loved every bit of our stay. There was so much attention to detail, to ensure our comfort, and lots of little touches to make us feel a little special. The pool and beach had ample seating, the beach was clean. Our room was incredibly comfortable, and we cannot wait to return.
