We understood there was no Tv or wifi but in this day and age anything is possible even if you have to raise the price. We were not told about electricity that it was a key meter it was only when an alarm was going off we traced it to electric box to find there was only 50p left on it we put key on and it added another £15 which went nowhere these are very expensive devices. "We really liked Harbour House where we stayed for one night before catching the ferry to Stornoway. Finding the place is easy and there is plenty of parking on site. On arrival we were given a very friendly welcome from the receptionist. Our room was spotlessly clean, well maintained and comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast next morning was excellent and all the staff were friendly and helpful. If we had known how pleasant Ullapool is, we would have stayed longer!"

"The ceiling in the bathroom was covered in mould it was room 37 the draft from the old windows was dreadful, rooms tiny but worst thing the walls were paper thin could here next door cough , snore and the voices , the bed my god had more lumps in it than porridge, check in wa 4 o’clock even premier inns are 3 pm and I offered to pay extra as we were there 2 hrs early as we had travelled hundreds of miles and they said no , we left at 8am next morning with out breakfast so for 16 hrs it cost £157...
