More concerningly, they claimed certain extra tax charges were required by government law, yet applied the passport checks and charges inconsistently, requesting passports for all guests in only selected rooms while apparently treating comparable rooms differently. If a tax is legally required, it should be applied...

"Good hotel overall. Decent rooms although aircon wasn’t great. Good breakfast with wide range of food. They need to find a way of keeping the pigeons away from the outdoor seating. Pool area is good and spacious, but water slightly cold. I think this mainly because of the positioning of the pool. The hotel building blocks out a lot of sunlight for large parts of the day which is a shame. Staff could have been more friendly. But otherwise a good experience."
