"Although clear check in instructions had been sent by email beforehand, there was information in the lobby about how to contact a staff member. I utilized this, and the staff member was really nice and helpful. The breakfast set up, selection and staff member was fabulous! Having a vehicle is an asset to use this location."

"Great location, quiet and well furnished. A bit of cleaning around the window frames wouldn’t do any harm. Other than that, highly recommended. "

"We stayed 3 nights as a family of four with two young kids and loved it. Spacious, clean apartment with a handy kitchenette and shared laundry. Free parking was a huge plus — no downtown parking hassle — and it’s just a 10‑minute drive to the city. Grocery store right across the street made meals easy. Perfect base for exploring Reykjavík and beyond!"

"The converted camper was as pictured and as described with a beautiful mountain backdrop. We especially appreciated the mini-fridge in the kitchenette. The central restroom facilities offered men's and women's sides with 2 bathroom stalls and 2 shower stalls in each. Esjan was well located between Borgarnes and Reykjavik."

"Warm and friendly hotel. Wonderful staff, beautiful interior with lots of lighting and candles at night. Very warm and cozy. Rooms are the same with very comfortable beds and lovely bathroom amenities. They also have a happy hour in the evening, which is nice. The only downside is that it is in a rather ugly industrial building, but it turns out that many of the buildings in the city look just like it. Ugly on the outside but Beautiful inside. "Was there 4 nights. Everything else was good except for the wi-fi in my room #716 where they couldn' t fix the wi-fi problem which was on and off for the first three nights and they kept saying that there's nothing wrong. It s quite annoying after a long day outing and back to my room with no wi-fi connection. Had to go sit at the hall way to get wifi connection sometime."
