"Unique and interesting decor. Very dog friendly and the breakfast was great. There's a lovely Italian restaurant (pizza pizza) just down the road (not open on a Monday though). We stayed at this hotel in the way to Portugal in March and in the way back to the UK in May and we were certainly happy to visit a second time."

"The reason for the terrible rating is - No meal at the Hotel so I ask the reception where I could eat, they pointed me in the direction of a local bar. Had something to eat there at 21:00hrs and by 23:00hrs I was having terrible stomach pains. "A lovely property in a great location in terms of the historical area of the city. A 15 minute walk to the centre. The venue itself was excellent but perhaps let down by most of the staff who appeared indifferent towards those staying. The pool area needs some work in terms of the umbrellas which were old and dangerous if the wind got up. The young men who handed out the towels and served drinks need to have their phones amputated so that they can focus on the paying guests."

"Beautiful and relaxing hotel. So peaceful and a romantic location, perfect for those looking to chill out. Our suite was large, had lovely big fluffy towels and dressing gowns, and yummy smelling bathroom products. We used the gym, which I think is new - it was modern and had all the bits needed to get a work out in, other than yoga mats. We could only stay one night, but we’ll defo be returning for a longer stay. Only negative, I thought it was a little mean to charge €1 for a Nespresso pod in...
