"A wonderfully quirky, interesting and special place to stay, monsieur is a delightful and very helpful host. Lovely breakfast is served in an old mill room, with the watermill leat running through the adjoining room… the whole property is quite amazing. Although it is sited in the midst of countryside, it is an easy 15 to 20 minute walk into the centre of Pons, with its medieval tower, town square and some lovely restaurants. We loved it there and would certainly book again should we come this...

"Je ne passais qu’une seule nuit à Saintes seule pour visiter un ami à l’hôpital. L’accueil de Claudine fut très chaleureux et tonique. Elle me reçue dans sa maison de ville où elle loue 2 chambres. La mienne était spacieuse, salle de douche récemment rénovée, wc séparé. Propreté impeccable. Au plein coeur de la ville, pas un bruit. Elle m’a conseillé un restaurant juste à côté tout à fait bien et le lendemain matin l’ai pu, ainsi que l’autre locataire, prendre le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse...

Dommage que je ne sois pas resté plus longtemps pour profiter de la piscine qui un attrait supplémentaire. Je recommande cet endroit."

"This was a stopover between Dinan and. Bordeaux. The hosts were very gracious and helpful. This B&B has been beautifully restored and decorated so nicely with exquisite decor. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was so unique and toiletries were supplied. The property has secure parking and walking distance to the main square with plenty of restaurants and shops.
