This hotel located in convenient position with relatively quiet environment. Quests can easily walk to tourist & shopping spots. Price is also reasonable.

Location was superb right outside the Hanabatacho station. Across the street from the Kumamoto Castle and in a huge shopping district. Staff were great the only negatives were the desk chair was heavily stained along with the bed pillows needed replacing. With a little upkeep we would of given this hotel 5 stars.
We only stayed one night here but we had a great experience from check in to check out. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Lovely restaurants in the area. We ate a delicious dinner at a Chinese restaurant in the Ginza area called Jang Jang Go. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful. Next to it was a Swiss bakery where we found treats to enjoy later. The most significant thing that happened during our stay was a 6.6 earthquake at 11:15 pm approximately 74 km away in the water between Beppu and Shikoku Island. We definitely felt it in our 5th floor room but the hotel felt safe and sound.

Nice and clean. Convenient to walk to the shops. Other Daiwa is better with a combini directly beneath it. Shower screen could have at least been wiped down. Looks like years of scum has been left there. No on-site parking available and upon arrival no where to park to drop off bags. Need to inform staff prior to remove bollard blocking parking space but otherwise would not have known. Hotel has an offer with a parking station 250m down the road. Far to walk if you have bags and spots are TIGHT. Didn’t know that it would be cheaper to pay the normal parking rate until the last day when a staff member asked what time I will leave and informed me it’s cheaper to pay the parking rate than their rate. Didn’t try breakfast but the restaurant itself looked good.
Located very centrally within walking distance to tram stops, Kumamoto castle however there is no free parking available. Parking overnight at the nearby paid parking would make the price you pay at this hotel no longer so attractive. This area is also very crowded or happening at night, think similar to Kabukicho crowd. This causes the area to be rather noisy.
