The hotel is in a nice location within walking distance to China Town. Friendly staff but the hotel rooms are starting to show their age. Breakfast is very limited.

The service was below standard. 2 of the 3 nights spent at the hotel having the shower blocked. I had to request twice before someone came to fix it. One day one of the towels provided had a bunch of hair. I asked to be replaced, after waiting for more than half an hour in the room, I had to make another request to get the towel replaced. It seems to need 2 requests before any action.

The location, staff and property were great! Unfortunately when we were there they had run out of toilet paper. The hotel never went out to buy any for the guest during our whole stay.

Stained linen, ceiling in the shower had a hole in it and was patched with a piece of cardboard. It still leaked. Pictures of the room were misleading. The front desk workers had no answers to any questions. Location was good but there was always someone laying on the hitel stairs.

Good stay for budget travelers for short stay

The hotel is fairly new, good condition, very comfortable and clean for a reasonably low price. It's an overhead shower (not handheld) so it was not convenient to shower my baby. Location is good though, walking distance to Jalan Aloe Night Market, Petaling street and close to other attractions via taxi or Grab. Hotel staffs are friendly and attentive. However, it is located right next to Hindu temple and there are many homeless people and trash around which made me uncomfortable at first. I wanted to change hotels but decided to stay to avoid the hassle, the homeless people seemed harmless although they will just stare at you. We had some leftover food and fruits so I quietly left it for them while they were sleeping and we left for the airport. You will also see a lot of people lining up to get food at the temple. Overall I think it was a good stay for budget traveler.
