"Despite some refurbishment being done to the grounfloor area, it did not impact on guests. My room was clean and tidy. Breakfast could be improved somewhat. The biggest plus is that the hotel is only minutes from the square. I should also praise the hotel staff for their helpful nature."

"The hotel is really nice and I would have given 5 stars for it, but after check out the hotel tried to charge my credit card with a penalty which my bank declined. An email from reception accused me of damaging a lamp and a pillow in the room. In that email they also send a payment link for the „damages“. I told them that I didn’t damage anything and all of a sudden they said it was a mistake and everything is fine. It seems to me that they try to make extra money with that. I feel robbed and ripped off. If people stay there I would recommend paying the deposit by Apple Pay, because that way they can not charge you extra. "
