We loved the location. Very secluded from the neighboring Raily and Ao Nang beaches. The room was very comfortable and AC worked great. They also had a decent breakfast buffet and restaurants. The front staff was nice, but the restaurant attendants could be more attentive to customers. Transportation from the resort was also not easy to get. Although they had a dedicated long boat, we rarely saw it near the resort and you had to pay extra if you did not have at least 6 passengers. I feel this should be included with the stay.

Private long tail boat access with free breakfast. Close to West Beach Railey. Don’t miss the 4 island cruise with snorkeling and Thai lunch with Get Your Guide. Tonsai Bay Resort has beautiful scenery too.

This was a really nice hotel, super close to the beach and climbing area. The AC worked great and room was very clean. The staff were very nice and were able to accommodate cleaning our room at a specific time since I was sick for 2 days in the room. Breakfast was provided and had lots of great options with an amazing view.

Beautiful but must take long boat to get there!

Very modern and lovely rooms/cottages. Staff very nice. Close to climbing and fun beach bar and kayaking. It's a little tricky to get here. You have to take a long boat from the Ao Nang area to Railay beach and then go to Tonsai Bay from there.

A fabulous stay.... Waking up on a bay, jungle-like environment in a peaceful and quiet place was the best experience. While walking through the resort and the bay you'll see the cheeky monkeys playing around the roofs and trees. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, we thought it won't be easy to get to the resort by boat but the staff planned our airport pick-up and boat and everything went smoothly -even at night time! If you don't want to leave the Bay to get to AO Nang beach for the evening, don't worry you get beach bar and other places to get drinks and food until 11pm. We truly enjoyed the time in Tonsai Bay and we highly recommend this property.

Better go somewhere else

Bungalow was oké, regarding the price. The nature is stunning. If they clean the the garden, they just dump the plastic trash on the the ditches. We all got food poisoning from the restaurant. Check the restaurant reviews on Google, 17 food poisoning cases the last 3 months. I wish we have red that before. We went for breakfast and dinner next door.

5 nights at Tonsai and I would definitely go back. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Restaurant was good. Ocean front breakfast was so peaceful. Off season so only handful of people around. Climbing access on the beach cant be beat. Definately checkout old Basecamp and local food options in jungle above resorts.

Nice hotel

Very nice hotel. Beautiful beach front. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. You can only access this resort by boat or if low tide you can walk about 25 minutes. Boat will cost about 300 baht.

Resort was great, except strange bathroom. Problem with rating is getting to and from resort. Low tide, boats have difficulty getting in and out. It made a paradise like Tonsai Bay, and the resort, a bit different to maneuver. All in all, resort was fine.

Things to watch for. Upon check in there’s a 5% charge on the bill for using a credit card. Unless you are a series rock climber there’s nothing much to do. The longboats try and rip you off. Take cash as I didn’t see any ATMS and a couple of times paying for food/dinner cash only. That said rooms were very clean staff lovely. Would I go back… No
