"We stayed here for the night as we were hoping to check out and enjoy the area from out of state. Frankly, we wouldn’t stay here again. For the price, it looked better than some of the other places that we saw reviews for in the area, though definitely wouldn’t say this was better than anything else we were seeing, after staying here. Place was clean, though definitely in need of an update. The room was subpar. Things were definitely worn down (picture frames peeling, really worn headboard, banged up furniture, draperies barely hanging together or coming undone). If this place was renovated recently, it was definitely done on the fly, and on the cheap. The bed was atrocious honestly. We had a king-size bed and room. It was rock hard with absolutely no comforts. My partner could barely sleep through the night. And breakfast was pretty basic. Hot but barely. No coffee machine in the room either, or conveniences/amenities. If you do choose to stay here, definitely ask for a room opposite the side that’s facing the freeway, though who knows how much better that would be. We really couldn’t sleep so that was something we noticed. Definitely had higher hopes. Gonna pass on this one next time."

"Had to call someone on phone and wait 5+ minutes for them when I walked in. There was not a clean area anywhere. The room had broken table leg, bathroom sink stopper laying next to sink, stains on the bed sheets. I asked for a refund after less than 10 minutes after walking into the room. The whole place is horrible. Not exaggerating at all. Was not successful in getting a refund so me and my daughter left and I ate the $106. Needs to be shut down to be totally honest. Thank you I have photos, but they are on my daughter's phone. Can provide if someone is interested in seeing this place"

"The front desk staff are very helpful and courteous. Some rooms may feel slightly dated but nothing that ever made us question staying there. This is our 3rd family stay at this property in the past 6 months. The pool was warm and clean. The hot tub was just the right temp, maybe a tad hot for me, but others in our family really liked it. Pool towels were plentiful. Breakfast has a good hot and cold option variety and the staff keep everything stocked and clean. The omelets are pretty good as well. The happy hour has been different each time and overall its been definitely worth it if we happen to be at the hotel. Lots of stores and food options nearby and access to downtown Chicago! Highly recommend."

"Room was clean, staff were great and friendly and helpful. Although I didn’t eat at the restaurant the food looked good and it was always busy. I would stay here again if travelling to Chicago. The train station was close by and using the shuttle service was easy and efficient to get to and from the station."
