Everything was excellent from start to finish. The room was spotless and very well maintained, and you could tell that a lot of care goes into the details. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire stay — always welcoming, attentive, and professional. From the first minute to the last, everything felt easy and relaxing. Truly nothing to complain about. Would happily stay here again.

Amazing hotel! We had a room in the lush jungle. The pool and common areas were very pleasant and theres coral to snorkel around on the beach at the front. All the staff were very freindly and we reallt wnjoyed the iced matcha lattes at breakfast!

The hotel has a lovely beach stuff very friendly and helpful the rooms are OK not to special ,showers can be way better the shower heads reminded me of a shower in a hostel not of a 4 star hotel.

The Explorar Koh Phangan was an amazing property. The staff was awesome. Breakfast buffet was great. The pool, the room, fitness center all great. Not to mention an amazing sunset every night. Would highly recommend and would definitely return.

Excellent value

Explorar Koh Phangan is really good value. The service is amazing and the food is top notch. The rooms are clean and well designed and built. Maybe more expensive than other places nearby but it is worth it.

Great location. Overall everything was perfect, the staff was amazing. The only thing I wanted more was for them to step up the food a little more. It was’t bad or anything but plenty of opportunities to improve.

Everything was perfect for our wedding anniversary trip. Breakfast buffet to start the day, then straight into the pool to wake up some more, walking around haad rinn is easy, plenty of shopping and things to do. Friendly staff that took care of anything and everything. Will stay here again. Wish I knew they had another location in Samui too. Will stay here again and again.

Great comfy hotel.

Great location. It’s very clean, the amenities are great and the staff was amazing. The drinks was pretty good. The only thing I wish was better was the food. It wasn’t bad but it was good either. Definitely highly recommend this place for everyone

The property location is perfect on the beach which is very clean. The sea is almost mirror flat and loverly to swim in. The hotel has a great vibe with adults only, no children ruining the pool environment. The staff are amazing and very helpful paying attention to your needs before you ask. The room was clean and easy to stay in with an amazing shower. (Very powerful). The food in the restaurant is very good and the staff were great at supporting us with gluten and dairy free food. Our view, best located hotel on the beach and the best place to stay.

The rooms were nestled into beautiful foliage for privacy. The gardens as a whole were lovely and well tended. The staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough for you. Nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant led directly onto the beach as did the infinity pool/pool bar. The beach was cleaned twice a day to remove leaves etc. - a lovely walk, peaceful, not too many people. The only downside for us was a lack of shade areas as we prefer not to sit out in direct sun. Having said that we thoroughly enjoyed our four week stay.

Great sunsets, good beach stay.

We stayed for 3 nights prior to New Years Eve. Loved the beach front, great sun loungers, beanbags and cocktails for sunset. Rooms all terraced, terraces could be dark due to set back in gardens but rooms bright, clean, modern with huge bathrooms and great bed! Service charge (10%) and 7% tax added to all food/drink purchases which can add up! No advance notice of pool party days (luckily for us happened on last day but would be good to know when booking if that’s what you want to avoid or attend!). Great breakfast. 10 min walk to Haad Rin beach. Would recommend if you want adults only but pick timings carefully if you’re looking to avoid party atmosphere. Good beach vibe.

The Koh phangan property isn’t as nice as the one on Koh Samui. The stay would have been much better if the hotel did not open the pool area to the public at a cut price rate - this just crowded the pool at certain times of the day. The clientele weren’t always pleasant, The pool water had a weird chemical taste - sour is the closest way to describe it. Having said that the restaurant food was very good; the massages were excellent and there was a spacious and quiet co-working space to get some work done.

Perfect location. Ocean view room is worth the upgrade. Nice pool that overlooks the swimmable beach right out front, AC works great, good breakfast, not too noisy and a short walk to Haad Rin 👍
