I booked a private 2 bedroom suite with private pool and they put me in a garden suite.... thank God I was traveling solo only for 1 night and not a week+ with my wife. "This is a wonderful boutique hotel set on a gorgeous sandy beach. The gardens and pool are beautiful. It’s a very quiet relaxing place with very friendly, helpful staff. There are two kayaks and a paddleboard available free of charge. There is a hotel spa that offers massages on the beach and also a massage place on the beach next to the hotel. The hotel restaurant is very good. For more choice, the Intercontinental Hotel is next door and there are a couple of restaurants just a short walk...

"Based on what I paid which was close to $150 a night I would have expected more modern room and a better breakfast buffet but otherwise the place was clean with friendly staff and located right on the beach. The step over from the tub shower to the floor is non-standard height (higher than normal) so be prepared if you have shorter legs or mobility issues. "

"The Beach Samui is everything you need and more for an island escape far from the touristy areas. Mind you the beach isn’t really swimmable but you can still walk along the shore, as well as take advantage of the hotels pool and lounging area. The dispensary and the herbalists were amazing, the quality and variety of products was very cool. The food they serve in the hotel that you can order, I loved them all. They also have restaurants around you can try. I will definitely come back again."
