"Beautiful historic mansion. We walked thru nearby parks to the riverfront for lunch. The outdoor restaurant at Orange Grove was very pleasant for an evening dinner and happy hour. The admiral lounge is very comfortable while waiting for pickup to go to the airport or cruise ships."

The staff at reception were great at our check in and were extremely helpful with our luggage storage at check out and on departure to the cruise port. "We pre booked and paid for dinner only to find at check in that dinner wasn’t available and we had been booked at a pub 10 minutes away by car. We didn’t want to drive again we wanted to eat and relax after a day of travel. As there wasn’t an alternative we didn’t go to the pub where the main course was fine but not what we wanted. Had we been informed that dinner wasn’t available we would have booked elsewhere."

"Upon entering, the room smelt strongly of mould and damp. There was mould all over the bedroom window and the smell also came from the bathroom. The bathroom door latch didn't work, so the door didn't stay closed. The bathroom extractor fan is caked with dust, the bath looks like it hadn't been cleaned, the panel looks incomplete and the grouting is mouldy in the shower. "Selected this spot as we were sailing out on a cruise the next day. Great location, staff set up a taxi for our group, knew what port/platform we needed to be at (just by saying our cruise line.) They were friendly and informative. Hotel is perfectly located beside a shopping mall which allowed us to do a little shopping before leaving and gather some last minute items. Would recommend this property and hope to return in the near future."
