"Despite some other visitors concerns I had a lovely experience. Easy to book, called a couple of times before to discuss arrival times and confirm bookings, staff were pleaseant and helpful on the call. On arrival on a busy and noisy Friday night, staff again were lovely and helpful, locals/regulars didnt stare or make us feel unwelcome, found parking right in front of the property, basically it was seamless - very welcome after a long night drive. Rooms were spacious, well-equipped and clean....

"The venue is up a gradual slope, being around a 10 minute walk from the town centre however the view of the harbour during the walk is beautiful. Being close to the pulpit hill viewpoint makes a nice trip being only a couple minutes walk from the venue. "My room provided was on the top floor, but there is no elevator. The woman who checked me in carried my big heavy suitcase all the way up the stairs. I'm so grateful for her help. I have some mobility issues with stairs. Everything else is super comfortable. Excellent water pressure, soft fluffy towels, big wonderful bed and bedding. "

"I loved the ‘old-world’ atmosphere and the attitude of trust placed in the guests. Our room was so quiet and peaceful. We dined in Markie Dans in the evening and I loved the friendliness, the food, and the toe-tapping Scottish music played by a young accordion player. "Great location and street parking available. Clean appartmebt but quite warm with the sun. Fan was available but no crosswinds when we opened the balcony. Would recommend drawing the blinds in the morning when leaving the appartment to keep cool. We cooked our own breakfast and had all necessary utensils. Good appartment."

"I’ve been staying at this Muthu for many years now. The reasons for coming back have been the view, facilities and the ease of parking. Recently, the staff have remained consistent and I’ve found them to be polite, pleasant and happy to engage. We love the lounge area and the pool. Some updating could be done, but the rooms have the dated quirkiness which is appealing. It would also be nice if repeat customers were recognised for their loyalty. "This is a beautiful hotel overlooking the loch , it’s out of the way and very private. The food is fantastic, small menu but something for every taste. "
