The hotel has been updated with some nice touches including electronic do not disturb/housekeeping door signs, well-appointed fitness centre with water and ice dispensers. The second floor rooms share a large outdoor terrace complete with furniture for enjoying some outdoor time. If you prefer a private balcony book above the second floor. Note that the historical nature of this building and downtown location presents some limitations that newer buildings...

"The Kelowna property on Powick had nice rooms and good amenities and the breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of hot entees and healthy options to choose from. However it was the staff that made the stay exceptional. Mickey at the breakfast buffet was helpful and friendly to everyone, and Arsh at the front desk was also very friendly and accommodating especially considering the pressure they were under on such a busy tournament weekend with a hotel full of young volleyball players."
