Well, our 4th stop in Japan was Kanazawa and the Koko Hotel. It's in a great, great location. Close to trains busses and a handful of things to go see. The hotel itself is reasonably quiet and pretty comfortable. But, as with most hotels here the rooms are pretty small. This one is almost like being in an RV without any storage to use. But, it's a pretty common thing here. If you have more than 1 bag, find another place, this isn't it. The staff was very helpful and friendly. All in all a nice place to stay for a few days.

Great location. We took the city bus from the train station and then walked everywhere. But there is a stop right nearby if you wish to catch the bus. Room was nice and is standard Japanese size. Breakfast wasn’t worth the money.

Everything was great, except for my room had a bad sewage smell coming from the drains. I told staff and they were helpful and cleaned it but the next day the smell was back. This isn’t a staff issue it’s a plumbing issue.

This was a conveniently located hotel to the castle, the gardens, Omicho market, and the Samurai district. You will need to arrange transportation from the Kanazawa station to this hotel. This hotel is located on a very busy street and shopping area. However, we did not hear any street noises. Bathrooms are a little outdated and awkward, and even with an upgraded room, it was very tight. The mattresses and pillows are very flat and uncomfortable. I would probably not book at the KOKO hotel again.

Whilst the staff were friendly and hotel was pleasant the bed was way too hard resulting in minimal sleep for 3 nights straight. Even with an extra blanket provided by the hotel on the second night and sleeping on top of the duvet it was still as firm as the floor.

ウエルカムドリンクはお茶類やデトックスウォーターや地酒やワインなどのお酒もあって充実していて宿泊サービスとして有難かったです ただ部屋のハンガーラックの上の棚に飲みかけのペットボトルが置いてあるのに気づきおそらく前の宿泊者のものと推測するが掃除が行き届いてないと感じてしまい気分が悪くなりました

The location is perfect, I had an excellent stay! The hotel is modern and close to everything. I was able to visit many places just by walking and the rest was by bus. There’s a lot of restaurants nearby and many shops.

Great location, bus stop literally right outside which makes transfer from train station very easy. All main sights in Kanazawa are walkable from the hotel but again buses are right outside if needed. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was a good size and comfortable, good choice for breakfast. Based on our stay I would look at other KoKo hotels in the future.
