"Great location. Right next to the train station and amazing views of the city from the lounge. Great place to stay in Edinburgh. Our Room had A/C which was really needed in August. Only negative is that the room was extremely small. I had to walk sideways to get around the bed. I’m a small person so it didn’t bother me that much, but for my husband it was a little cramped. "

"The 2 bedroom unit was spacious with 2 bathrooms and a/c in the bedrooms. Everything very clean. Larger bedroom had 2 twins pushed together and its own bathroom. Other one had full bed. Generous kitchen with everything needed if want to cook a little and settle in. For those with mobility issues - note 2 sets of stairs before one get's to elevator (3 front treads and then another 15). "Loved staying at Abbey Strand! Very historic building but with all modern conveniences. Quiet part of Royal Mile away from noise & traffic but easy walk to anywhere. No air conditioning but temps are generally cooler. Definitely recommend a stay when in Edinburgh."
