"Excellent location. Walking distance to top restaurants, there were plenty of good beauty (hair, massage, spa) options also within walking distance too. We rarely took a didi throughout the whole trip. Rooms were comfortable and staff were helpful too. Gym was a bit small but functional and we didn’t need to use it that much anyway, and breakfast had plenty of options each morning. Definitely our go-to when in Shanghai. So convenient!"

"almost none of the pictures are accurate ; It’s is not one minute away from nanjing rd; it’s about 20 minutes driving. Jade Temple is the only one close (about 5 blocks from it. At the beginning they gave a room with a restroom and shower in a transparent box! You can see through! I had to ask for different room and they tried to charge me for that; finally I didn’t ….be sure you download didi app for taxis it’s a complicated area to ride a taxi."

"5 stars: Courteous, helpful nice encouraging staff. Cool french concession design, carbon neutral. Excellent location -1 star: Shower drain clogged and too slow. Overflows to the rest of the bathroom if I don't finish showering under 3-5 mins! -1 star: no fitness center as advertised. May need to update the listing"
