"Our six day stay was sort of good. The Eldan Hotel is situated in a great location, walking distance of The Jaffa Gate and Old City. There is a wonderful, modern mall near by where there is an abundance of great eateries. Sadly our room at the Eldan was anything but excellent. On day one it was obvious that the room had not been deep cleaned in quite some time. Thick dust on top of the television, a television that didn’t work but was sorted the following day. "Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was nice, clean and quick response for service too. We will be back. Excellent value."

"Great location and really clean. Our room was small but had a really large terrace with a great view. I would suggest that room."

"The room was clean and spacious for Israel. Staff were all extremely helpful and kind. The Israeli breakfast was something special, with fresh fruit, vegetables, salads, fish, hot entrees, and baked goods of all sorts. The self-serve cappuccino machines were appreciated. Best feature for a Jerusalem hotel was the outdoor pool - grande! and a small pool for children and a little play area. This was in addition to a large indoor swimming pool and a good indoor gym."

It is quite cold when I stayed in this hotel (8-14 C not sure), but the heater is not working... So I told the staff in the morning and when I came back, it still not working..."

"Joseph was very kind and corteous. My only suggestion : too much noise from the street and the noisee from room next door."

"I wanted to like this hotel. It is a new boutique, and the location is unparalleled, right in the centre of everything. The price was good so I wasn't expecting the Ritz, but I was given the smallest room I have ever been in, in any hotel. It is so small, there is nowhere to hang-up any clothes. As for the bathroom, I nearly had to stand in the toilet to take a shower. The shower nozzles kept dismantling, and I therefore had to get help sorting it. The room was clean, but there were marks...
