"There’s six big cats the stay outside the door and more my biggest concern was that we or scared off cats and the staff said they really live there and they won’t bother us I hate cats"

"Clean room. Dark neighborhood. Breakfast was not good. No egg no hot food other than one waffle station."

"Room had a sour smell and noticed the sheets and blanket on the bed had a sour smell, like they were left on the washing machine too long then placed in the dryer. They brought just sheets we had to change them ourselves and they didn’t even remove the sour sheets from our room. Not a pleasant stay this time will be finding another place to stay when I return."

"It is fine for an under $100 night hotel in NOLA . Just dated and it shows in the bathroom and balcony. The room was clean. The common areas were attractive and the pool was nice. Parking was free and a cross the street in an unsecured fenced area and they do post security in the front of the lobby with a clear view of the parking area. The area wasn't upscale but did not seem too sketchy right behind a major hospital."

"It was very clean, very quiet. Keep in mind that the pool is outdoor and has no shade at all so you will need towels for the chairs and sunblock. The continental breakfast was amazing. Our room was very clean and the housekeeping crew were awesome anytime we needed extra towels. 10/10 would stay again, and probably will."

"The property was clean, our door didn’t lock so we had to change out rooms. The mattresses need to be replaced and the rooms can use a little updating but overall it was a good stay. I think the staff said they are about to start a renovation so that would definitely make it a great stay"

"This is definitely a hidden gem. The owners were very nice and helpful. The room was spacious and in immaculate condition. The breakfast biscuits were delicious. I cannot brag on the owners enough, they were so nice and very welcoming. Magnolia room #5"

"The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast. However, our shower was clogged and was never repaired during our stay. Maintenance never came to address the issue, so we had to use a friend’s room to shower before we could continue with our day."

"GOOD: The staff was great and the rooms were very clean. The place was quiet and restful. Good location. Not in a busy area and easy access to stores, grocery, and downtown New Orleans is only 15 minutes away BAD: The wifi was horrible and utterly useless. It kept dropping and when it was connected it was slow. The gym and laundry area was very dirty. Dead bugs, dirty laundry. It seemed like no one paid attention to that. Overall it was a good stay. I would stay again. But to get five stars,...
