"Experience depends on the room you get. Corner room is like dorm, middle room is 3 star. One person gets a two bedroom place, and you can not have a guest. "
"Perfect location to get to the grand bazaar (5min walk) and blue mosque (10 min walk) . The Hotel itself is very clean and staff are very friendly. The breakfast has a great verity of food, tea and juices. Local food places to eat are very reasonably in cost too. Will definitely be our favourite place to stay when coming again. "
"Hotel is next to the main tram line T1 in Istanbul which is a tourist godsend and 10mins easy walk to the nearest M2 metro station. Grand Bazaar a couple of hundred yards away and most of the main tourist attractions are at most 10-15mins walk from the hotel - or 2-3mins on the T1.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Only slight downside was that the breakfast could have been more plentiful"
"Very, very clean. Cleaning and restaurant staff are very friendly and accommodating. Front desk staff do not speak English so difficult to communicate with but friendly."
"Your hotel was an amazing and family-friendly location recommended by one of my UN Staff Turkey friends he is an ex-colleague of mine a Police Officer who served with me in the UN. My special thanks to my brother Police Officer Muhamet and your hotel located in the middle heart of Istanbul City near Beyazit Grand Bazar."

"Outstanding historical hotel. A must see even if you aren’t staying in the hotel, the historic lobby is so unique. One of the best breakfasts in the city, but don’t limit yourself to the hotel breakfast only since there are so many wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner places around. The hotel staff were efficient and polite and just very professional. Loved our stay and strongly recommend over some of the more modern hotels if you want to experience Istanbul culture and history. "
"We stayed recently here and were happy overall with our stay.
Pool was great …closed at 8pm…not too crowded …

I would like to thank two individuals particularly who made our stay comfortable …Joseph and I can’t for life of me remember the other guy at reception (had salt pepper hair) were very friendly …
Location is about 15 minute walk to main sites which has some uphill walking to do …lots of stores and travel agencies on the way to the main sites
Good hot water and pressure …ac was good …spacious room "
"Fantastic staff. Great hospitality. Their breakfast was excellent. Located in a historic neighborhood. 6 to 8 minute walk to the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar. Lots of dinning and shopping options around. We were in Istanbul for just 3 days and couldn't have asked for a better location for a short trip."
"Staff was excellent and very helpful. Location was perfect and easy to get to everything we needed. Rooms were as described and had everything we needed. Will come back!"
"Orhan and Ali run a clean and honest hotel. My experience at the Lenus was excellent in every respect. They were available and willing to help me in all things, from getting cash to navigating the city, day or night. Next time I come to Istanbul, I’m staying here."
