The hotel was modern and clean! The staff welcomed us straight away and packed our luggage and jackets to our room. WiFi was also free. There are restaurants around the corner where you can eat.

Despite the fact that there is no shuttle service and I was seriously overcharged by a taxi, the hotel staff was very kind and courteous, helped me resolve my issues, and the hotel itself is well-designed, modern, and clean. Surprisingly so. Except my refrigerator wasn’t working.

Good for a short stay as it’s close to shops, restaurants, markets and SAW airport. Prefer uber app for taxi to airport as more protected (too many scam taxis in Istanbul). The staff will assist as needed and no issues. Not close to city center but buses are close by.

What stood out most to me about my stay at the hotel was the staff. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I had a problem with Pegasus (who seem to be notorious for losing luggage - avoid). Both Cemil and Necmi kindly let me use the lobby phone and were ready to offer help if I needed any in Turkish when dealing with Pegasus (although fortunately their support was in English). I stayed there for a few days (as a friend lives nearby) and couldn't fault it. I'll be staying there again soon for a couple of nights (at the start and end of my holiday in Turkey). I've stayed at the Hilton in the area a couple of times but I think the Nearport hotel is much better (it has nicer rooms).
