What a fantastic stay! The staff especially Utkan and Majd were so welcoming and helpful with suggestions about what to do. The hotel is very clean and confortable with spacious rooms and fantastic views across the river. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our time in Istanbul.

Great hotel, very friendly and helpful staff on hand 24/7 at reception and via whatsapp. They provide complimentary drinks for you throughout your stay. There is a roof terrace available to use, although it's not quite finished as the hotel is very new, it's a great spot to sit for a while and take in the view of the city! Would definitely recommend staying here, the rooms are nice and well equipped :)

Two things really stood out for me at The Golden Horn: the room quality and the super helpful staff. The room was so spacious and comfortable, with a wonderful Bosphorus view. As for the staff, nothing was too much trouble - reservations, recommendations, advice and help. I felt extremely well looked after.

We had a wonderful stay in Istanbul. The hotel’s location is excellent, but even more impressive was the hospitality of all the hotel staff. They always greeted us with a smile and were very friendly, offering us tea and giving helpful advice about our itinerary. If we have the chance to visit Istanbul again, we would definitely like to stay at the same hotel. The room with a sea view was very spacious and left us with great memories. Thank you！

Excellent choice in a great location

Wow. We were able to check in very early having arrived on an overnight flight with an upgrade to sea view. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and get to know you individually. The room was large with an excellent walk-in shower. There are free drinks readily available with turkish delight as well. The hotel location is great - right next to the park that you can walk through to reach some main attractions such as Topkapi Palace. An excellent choice that provides service the way it used to be.

I had a wonderful experience at the Golden Horn Bosphorus Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and professional. Majed, Utkan, Khair, Aziz, and Mohammad all made my stay enjoyable and hassle-free. The room was spotless and well-appointed, featuring a comfortable bed and modern amenities. The location was perfect, just a short walk from great restaurants, shopping, and offering a stunning view of the Bosphorus. I absolutely recommend this hotel; it is ideal for solo travelers, couples, or business trips. I will definitely be back!

We were completely floored by the great hospitality at this newly renovated hotel…have stayed at many five star resorts but none with stellar service like this one.It is also very conveniently located, yet quiet. They so truly spoiled us that now our bar is set high. Would recommend this hotel to anyone without any hesitation. Rating it an 11 out of 10.Having said that must point out that the hotel does not have a restaurant. They are very generous in providing 24 hour variety of tea/coffee services with delicious sesame pistachio cookies free of charge. Their chocolate pistachio lokum is specially made for them and not available elsewhere in Istanbul…it is delicious! They are very close to the large Gulhane Park and the core sightseeing spots. A lot of food is within 5 minutes walking distance. If you choose to not stay here, it is your loss

From the moment we arrived at the Golden Horn Bosphorus Hotel, we were impressed by its immaculate upkeep and warm hospitality. The reception team greeted us with traditional tea and Turkish delight—a charming touch that set the tone for our stay. Our room was a highlight: spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with excellent air conditioning and a modern bathroom. We had a wonderful view over looking the Bosphorus to watch the constant flow of ships and boats. While the rooftop offers stunning views, it could benefit from better furnishings or amenities to make it more inviting for guests to linger and enjoy. The location was perfect, we enjoyed walks to major attractions with many restaurants nearby. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. Its combination of comfort, cleanliness, and unbeatable views makes it a place we’d happily return to. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable stay in Istanbul.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Best hotel ever. So central for exploring the city and right next to Gulhane Park (a quiet refuge). Plus the Marmaray underground is just next door - one stop to the Asian side of Istanbul. No noise from trains either. Staff went the extra mile, first time I’ve ever known all the staffs’ names! Rooftop view is fabulous and there is a swing chair for your enjoyment. I spent every night watching the sun set over the Bosphorus. Free tea and coffee plus nibbles constantly offered to us. Excellent WIFI.

The hotel is well located, just at walking distance from Istanbul amusement, but the most valuable of this hotel is its people. They not only gave an incredible attention but also so they were promptly to help in any case, guide you, you need just to make a wish and they will make it happen!!! Outstanding stay from beginning to end. The staff are, without exaggeration, the most helpful I've experienced at any hotel, ever. I wish I could remember his name to praise him as he deserves, but the gentleman who was working when I checked didn't just check me in. He walked me over to the couch, the other staff brought a welcome drink and Turkish Delight. He asked what brought me there and when I said tourism, he brought up several sites to see how much I know about Istanbul,pulled out a map, marked where they, discussed walking times and distances, and a suggested itinerary. If we requested something for the room like fresh towels they were brought up quickly. They were helpful with a spa, restaurant reservations, airport transportation. The room itself was the nicest I've stayed at in Istanbul but the staff alone is good reason to stay here.

A perfect finale to my Istanbul journey – truly beyond expectations. I initially booked this hotel because of the good reviews, but the actual experience far exceeded what I imagined. The atmosphere of the hotel was refined and elegant — a hidden gem that added a sense of calm luxury to the final days of my trip. Though I had originally booked a standard room without a window, I was generously upgraded to a room with a partial view of the Bosphorus — a small detail that made a big difference. What impressed me the most was the staff — incredibly gentle and attentive throughout. In particular, Uktan, the manager who assisted me from check-in to check-out, was truly outstanding. His thoughtful service and warm hospitality made me feel not like a guest, but like a valued friend. Thanks to this hotel, my last memory of Istanbul is filled with beauty and gratitude. Golden Horn Bosphorus Hotel – highly, deeply recommended!
