Staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The property grounds and pool are very nice. The beds and pillows are hard as a rock so sleeping was less than comfortable. The room was also very warm even with the air conditioning set at 19C. We had to use the stand fan and dehumidifier the entire time so that was less than desirable. The breakfast buffet is overpriced at ¥2800 per person for what was offered. Not very many options for foreigners who don’t eat traditional Japanese breakfasts. Coffee in the room in addition to tea would also be nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay despite those minor things. The onsite Yakiniku restaurant was very good!!

The bed was really stiff and the pillows felt like they were filled with rocks. The room itself was outstanding, cold a/c and the small pool was refreshing.
Pros: Room is big. The public bath place is good.
We had the dinner @ Teeda which has plenty of choices.
Cons: The beach quality is not good. We cannot play at the beach near the hotel.
We stayed in a Presidential Cottage at the Villa Garden, the room was large and comfortable with a good size bathroom. I’d have preferred the layout to have the bed in the darker end of the room and the sofas by the windows, but other than that it was great. The on-site food options are not so great: we had good meals in the restaurant in the Garden Villa but were disappointed limited lunch options: only one restaurant with last orders at 2, then the rather poor Cafe Diego as the only option for a late lunch/afternoon snack.
Great property. We stayed at the Garden Villa side which was really nice. Visited the resort side and it was also very nice. Resort side has a great yakiniku restaurant. Villa side has an amazing buffet. Pool was great. Villa side was quieter and fewer kids. Staff was very very friendly at both locations. Area is quiet and safe, right on the ocean. Great restaurants in the area from grilled shrimp and ice cream to traditional Japanese food.
This is a good self contained resort which is family friendly…you must reserve a shuttle if you have no car because it is a 30-40 minute drive
The only thing that we did not like is that there is no place to go for a drink or cocktail between 4pm and 6pm … so we had to walk to a nearby place

Liked: Staff & service
Found ants inside the drawer with the PJ and on the floor of tatami.
Also over populated crows that attack the hawk who tries to get them away. We could not enjoy the balcony without the crow being out there on the rail
However, due to the short time arrangement, I did not have the time to use the facilities provided by the hotel, so I could not make a specific assessment
