Terrible unpleasant stay!

Paid for private room of 4pax and checked in to private room when we arrived. However they moved us to shared room of 12pax three hours after we have checked in when we were out. We went back to hostel to try to cancel the room but the owner is reluctant to help us cancel. They mentioned they have not received the money. Asked us to directly settle with hotels.com instead. I am really at wits end as my credit card has been swiped 2 days before. We still try to maintain a happy stay and not make a fuss despite all these. We then asked about parking beside the hotel. Owner told us that it's free without parking coupon needed. Next morning we got a RM20 summon for street parking without coupon... That's really the last straw!!! Terrible unpleasant stay!!!

Good but need to inform customers more

Experienced similar incidents like other reviewer where we booked for another room but was given other room. We ended up staying because we already paid for it. At the end of the stay, the owner explained nicely about the reasons why they switched our rooms but it would be better if they informed us beforehand. The hostel environment is nice and fits nicely for light travellers.

Memuaskan walaupun ada masalah order di mana kami punya order tidak masuk dalam sistem hotel tersebut! Saya kecewa dgn hotels.com tapi apa apa pun owner still the best. Anak2 perempuan sanggup sacrifice bilik mereka utk kami tidur disitu juga memandangkan kami mmg tiada back up hotel. Thank you owner!
