"I had a fabulous 2 night stay here! Spotlessly clean, all the extra amenities included (shampoo, shower gel etc), homemade shortbread in the room. Great breakfast, continental as well as cooked. Julie is just the best host!"

"Rooms were very dated and cleanliness was not at a reasonable standard at all, bed linen was dirty, dust on every surface, walls mouldy and cracked and full of dust. Carpets were dirty with stains and covered in dog hair. Windowsills had dead bugs and dirt on them and beds were very uncomfortable (two single beds pushed together is not a double bed which is what we booked for both rooms) overall it was not a hotel we will be returning to."

"Staff were all so helpful and nice. Nothing was too much. The WiFi was not great the first night but has improved since. Food was good though perhaps needs to expand the menu a bit. They use local produce as much as possible which is excellent . Towels and bed linen were good quality and beds and pillows comfortable too. Would very definitely stay here again."

"On arrival we were warmly greeted and informed where breakfast would be served and explained where our room was. The room was huge in size, light, airy and tastefully decorated.
