"The property was easy to find. We were met at the door and were made to feel very welcome. Our hosts discussed the accommodation itself followed by a welcoming brew and a chat regarding the local area, places to eat and our breakfast order for the morning. "A small room with double bed. Very clean. Hospitality tray very well supplied. Bathroom with bath with shower over. The staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent evening meal. The room would have benefited from a bedside lamp reached from the exit side of the bed. "

"I went down for breakfast at 7.30....a bit later than I usually would, but everything was closed. I tried calling the number on the front desk but didn't get an answer. The room is decent but the bed was very hard."

"Booked 2 Rooms & when we arrived the Host said she wasn't letting out Rooms anymore so we were stuck at 7.30pm with nowhere to stay. Having trouble getting a Refund from you. Definitely wouldn't recommend."

"This was a lovely place to stay which we chose partly because it has some EV charging facilities. The restaurant and bar have a good selection with well kept beer and the staff are helpful and friendly. We especially recommend the panna cotta, however, all the food was good. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size and well appointed with tea, coffee and water. We would visit again "

You are in the centre of the village. Easy access to other areas of the Scottish Borders. Evening tends to close early so make sure you bring a good book. "
