Horton Plains National Park Sri Lanka. We got up at 4am to do a 9km hike to the top for the most fantastic views ever. This view s only available for a few hours in the morning before the mist comes in. I think It was called Worlds End #National Park

This was about 6am, when the park had just opened, beautiful colours everywhere. The water was so still it looked like a pond. Well worth the 9km hike! #National Park

The road from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya is full of turns, deceptively long and passes some of the largest tea plantations in the world. Truth be told, driving anywhere in the hill country of Sri Lanka is an exercise in patience given that even short distances can take hours due to slow moving traffic, poor weather or less than desirable roads. Better then to sit back and enjoy the ride while stopping for the occasional picture.
