We stayed in an ocean golf view "superior suite" which was well-located, and had convenient parking right outside our suite block. It also included a 2nd full bathroom with steam shower. The couch in our suite was comfy for lounging, and laundry and ice was very close by. We had our choice of pools to hang out at, as a couple traveling alone, but I preferred the Beach...

"We went to the Big Island just for a quick stop to hopefully see the volcano eruption (sadly it wasn’t active while we were there) and had minimal expectations of this place… we ended up loving the Big Island which was much quieter than Oahu or Maui and our family absolutely loved the Hilton Waikoloa Village. The place is beautiful and very well manicured. It is large and moving from one place to another on the resort took time, but our kids are college age and that just provided us some much needed physical activity after eating Poke nonstop. Really my only complaint would be that the restaurants on property closed early enough that if you were out late at all, there was nowhere to get food. Most places closed by 8:30. Aside from that, we loved it! I would definitely go back to this resort and stay longer!"
