"Beautiful location. Was quiet at night on Sunday so that was amazing. The area is very noisy overall. The room was about a 2 star, no amenities, no TV, no blanket, no coffee or glasses or mugs. It had a bed and that was it. Great place if you want to party and be out about the town."

"We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at AWA Holbox and actually got engaged in our room, with fizz on the beachfront balcony. The bath on the balcony is just amazing and I loved it. The bed is super comfy, the room spacious and air con great. Lovely rooftop and nice pool around the bar. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and eager to hear how our stay was. The only couple of minor 'cons' were the nearby constructoin which one night went on until 10pm - thi was outside of the hotel;s control and they were apologetic. Another totally out of their control was the smell of the rotting seaweed which apparently is common in Holbox directly after the rainy season. The staff were up very early cleaning and scraping it off the beach each day. We will most definitely be back though - incredible. The hotel is about a 15 min walk into the town centre or a very quick golf cart taxi that cost 150 pesos. "
