"Our king bed room was large, nicely decorated with a small balcony and a view of the Harbour. Staff were friendly, polite and always ready to help if needed. Breakfast was fabulous with large amounts of delicious food. The wait staff were excellent. We found the bar very busy the one time we went there and had to wait quite a while to be served a drink… too many guests, not enough servers! Also, one of the elevators did not work, which made for some long wait times.. Overall, we really enjoyed...

"My family and I had a good stay. My 5 year old loved the slides and my 2 year old loved the swimming pool area. The continental breakfast was a bonus and had good food selections. Well definitely comeback again."

"Loved our two night stay at this hotel! Friendly, helpful staff and an exceptionally clean room. Across from the motel is a boardwalk along the ocean channel. We strolled and enjoyed the boats and watched the seals. Will definitely stay again!"

"I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. When I arrived to check in, I explained that I had accidentally left my purse on the ferry and therefore did not have my physical ID with me. I completely understand that hotels have policies regarding identification and respect the need to protect guests. However, I was disappointed by how the situation was handled. I had the credit card used for the reservation and photos of my ID available, but the staff refused to consider any...

"Clean room, excellent keyless / contact less check in check out"

"Spartan/minimalist and dated accommodations, friendly staff, no attached restaurants, lounge, exercise, or pool... ...nothing like that. For a guy or couple needing simple accommodation, for a single night, this would probably suit most - would not recommend the same for single female travelers or extended stays. Due to its close proximity to downtown, the neighboring area remains a bit rough (street people) and staff lock the vehicle gate at the rear of the property each evening for good...

"Close to Nanimo Ferry. Really comfy bed. Bedroom seperate from living room was nice as my husband and I rarely go to bed at the same time. Walking distance to Tim Hortons and Safe on Foods. Cons, not that clean, dog food under edge of fridge. Not very nice bathroom. Very dated furniture. Would not use stove did not look safe. In the morning we were facing North East so it was so bright in the morning as curtains not big enough to cover whole window. Ok for only 1 night."

"No kitchen. The rooms are in the midst of renovations. Nothing is completely finished or ready for guests. So disappointing. Cancelled our reservation but did NOT get a refund for our stay. They said since we booked with Expedia we must deal with Expedia. Hopefully Expedia will refund our monies."
