"1) Checkin details were not provided - I had to contact Hotels.com and wait ±1hr outside in the windy street to get these. Checkin was 4pm but I couldnt get in until 90 mins later. 2) Once inside the building; Entrance hall filthy with full black bags in corner, wall staining, filthy carpets, laundry cages strewn. "Property was okay, there was staining around shower basin seals and rust where the toilet brush etc had not been replaced in a LONG time. Glad I brought my own kitchen utensils with me as everything at the property was damaged. Couldn’t even leave a fresh dish sponge for a new stay so questioned how clean the place actually was. The Lino in the kitchen was damaged in places and the fridge had been turned off and leaked into the kitchen floor. Also staining / dirt on sofa so couldn’t really...

"Very, very steep stairs to the apartment. Spacious with 2 separate rooms. Microwave, toaster and air fryer but no oven or hob. Not enough cutlery/crockery. No tea towel! I'd say not very well equipped. "

"Bad stay - the host did not send me check in details on the day of check in so I had to chase her up and she didn't even apologise for the hassle. One of the mattresses is so uncomfortable, you can Feel the springs. If you travel as 2 the host locks the bedroom doors for 1 room, is there any need? Overall, the place is okay but the hassle is not worth it "

"Location & appearance stunning. Interior decoration was period and sympathetic for the age of the property. Staff were polite well dressed & at tentative to your needs. Spa was well appointed, only slight drawback was you need to get the lift up to the spa which unfortunately was out of order, so needed to walk the stairs to reach it. If you ask at the main hall bar/dinning area you can even have a small tour under the premises to the wine cellar & rooms. We look forward to visiting again."

"From check in to check out we had a wonderful stay. All staff from room servicing, meals and front of house were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast and diner were plentiful, tasty and well presented. Parking was good. Even though we didn't want our room serviced, we received a bag of amenities. Excellent service.
