We loved the Halls historic features which were highlighted in Christmas decor making it very special. "This was a lovely heritage property located about a 15 minute walk to the centre of York. Staff were very welcoming and the room was spotless and comfortable. (If stairs are an issue for you, there can be many depending on your room floor - just two into the house) Breakfast was delicious and we also enjoyed the communal sitting room and the private parking. Overall, a lovely stay with great value. "

"It was totally magical staying at the castle. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. It was marvelous exploring the castle and grounds. The road to get there is narrow and bumpy, but once you’re there it is worth it! We had a lovely breakfast in the little restaurant. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer. "
