"Really enjoyed the stay here. Our host went above and beyond. And was very helpful in transporting us to our next accommodations in Hakuba. If only we could’ve stayed the whole stay here it would’ve been fantastic, but everything was already booked- just grateful that we could stay the week here. They also helped facilitate a discount on lift tickets. Location was very close to the ski slope and lifts. Would highly recommend."

"Very hospitable family owned hotel. Short walk to Goryu resort and restaurants. Family friendly with free marshmellows to roast over fire every evening. Nice hot wine to warm up after day of skiing."

"Hotel was fantastic - location is ideal for snow access with one lift across the road (10 metres) and another two within a short walk. The runs at the resort at perfect for early beginners, but easily connect to the gondola for more experienced riders. Location is too far from restaurants to walk, a shuttle or taxi is required. We didn't mind, the food at the hotel was great and we preferred the excellent snow access. Staff were really helpful, picking us up from Hakuba Goryu and dropping us off on the way out. The food was really good - a few rotating buffets for breakfast including different types of eggs (scrambled, poached, boiled, omelette) and sides like bacon or pork or sausages. Dinner was wonderful each night - something different and Japanese plated for us along with a buffet selection or sides. Bathroom was small but serviceable, room size was otherwise good. I read some of the really negative reviews before coming and it made me incorrectly worried about the hotel - we had a great experience and I don't understand those reviewers at all. This was a great lodge like experience right on the snow."

"The location can't be beaten. The staff are wonderful and the rooms are clean and comfortable, they're also bigger than other's I've stayed in while in Japan. The complimentary bus to the supermarket is a great added bonus. Also keep an eye out for the troupe of Snow Monkeys that are often in the trees just below the apartment complex on the piste edge. "

"Owners are very nice ,the lady knows a bit of English. She made delicious breakfast. Bring your own towel, otherwise extra charge. Walking distance to Hkuba Goryu ski Resort about 5-10 min. My room included private bathroom and shower. "

"The hotel is perfect with location, Onsen, discounted gear rental and tasty dinner. The room is not too small for double. Breakfast variety could improve with some option of Japanese gohan or the likes. The public onsen is something you can’t miss. Staff are mostly westerners so if you don’t speak Japanese, it’s complete fine and they are super helpful and friendly."
