"The hotel was beautiful and the owner was friendly. Check in is at 5:00 pm which is also the time the staff retires for the evening so don’t expect room service or any service after that. Breakfast was perfectly French with breads, croissants, homemade jam, and cheese. Overall it was a lovely place to stay."

"Great little hotel in the Normandy countryside. About a 15 minute drive to Monet's garden and a number of good restaurant options. The hotel has a restaurant with limited food options, but a great bar and sitting area. Beautiful grounds in a quiet location with plenty of fresh air."

"Stayed here for 1 night in late September 2025. The hotel is stunning, with fantastic grounds and gardens. The breakfast was fantastic, and we didn’t expect the chocolate brownie, which was a nice treat. The evening fine dining was expensive but delicious, and the ales and beers from vexin were top notch. The grounds around the hotel feel very safe, and we were able to store 2 bicycles in an outside storage facility, which was secure."

"Alain made us extremely welcome at his lovely old house just a short drive from Giverny and Monet‘s fabulous garden. A quiet side road, pretty house, and all we could wish for for a two-night stay. "

Colazione fantastica, tutto local e di qualità! Anche qui massima flessibilità, nonostante siamo arrivati dopo l’orario della colazione, non hanno avuto problemi a servirci. Il posto è incantevole"

"The property has a magnificent setting on Seine river halfway between Giverny and Rouen. Tremendous riverview garden and balconies. Restaurant has very good food including breakfast & dinner! Comfortable bed and adequate bathrooms with outstanding walk in shower. The venue exudes nothing but charm!"
