The hotel was good and the dinner was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the shower water flowed all over the bathroom floor. We parked right outside our door and we felt safe.

Great stopover

Great hotel which suited our needs for the trip back home. Clean room, we had the Junior suite for the kids, very friendly staff and EV chargers on site. Breakfast was lovely and the restaurant next to the hotel was great. Wonderful freshly cooked food and great service.

This hotel is charming and secluded. Not quite as close to Giverny as it appears. The breakfast was delicious and convenient. The staff spoke no English but was patient with our poor French.

It's a great hotel with a friendly staff. The breakfast is fine and the rooms are comfortable. The Uber services work, but it's not easy to get a driver. I'd recommend the taxi services, if you need to follow a time schedule. I've not been able to find any means of public transportation between Bonnières sur Seine and Chaufour-lès-Bonnières.

They accommodated us very well after one of our party became unwell. Struggles at times with translations and out of the way, but did the job and some good food options here and nearby

At check in the receptionist did not speak English, so our driver had to translate. We were given a handicap room, which was fine, but it smelled like sewer gas. The shower had no door and when using the shower the entire bathroom floor was flooded. Explaining the terrible smell.

The property was difficult to find at night due to limited to no lighting around the outside. The rooms were ok until you got to the beds. The bedsheets were dirty and stained, I did not sleep well. Other than that the property was nice and affordable.

B&B OK but No Dinner!

We stayed for two nights, Saturday and Sunday 24/25 June 2023. The hotel has a rather bleak exterior on a country main road but the interior is very pleasant, with a large dining area and an attractive bar. Our motel style room was well laid out and equipped, with a comfortable bed, and the location was convenient for our short visit to the area. Sadly, reception on arrival was dreadful. There was only one member of staff in evidence who appeared to be a chambermaid doing reception duties as well. She clearly resented having to deal with English speaking guests. I have been travelling in France for many years and while my French is not fluent I normally have no difficulty in hotels, shops etc. We also discovered that in spite of a substantial menu board displayed at the entrance, there was in fact no restaurant or bar service other than breakfast available over the weekend. In my experience this is out of keeping with a Logis hotel. We had no advance notice and apart from a neighbouring pizza bar there was nowhere local to get a meal or drink. However our breakfasts were excellent, with friendly service (different staff) and well up to what I expect from Logis de France so the story is not all bad.

Mitigé

Hôtel avec restaurant (non testé), décoration des chambres vieillottes. Literie à revoir. Par contre le personnel est très sympa et je conseille le petit déjeuner (très complet du salé au sucré, dessert inclus).Très calme au moins pour les chambres donnant sur le parking.
