"We booked this hotel with high hopes. We got snacks and wine with our room (we don't drink) which was nice. We took the wine for family, because why not, it was free. When we arrived, we noticed a strong mildew odor right away. I ignored it for the most part. I understand that the climate could make this happen, even though the hotel we stayed in, in La Fortuna was free of any smells. The Breakfast is exceptional. We ate dinner at the hotel a couple of times as well and it was delicious. The food is just amazing! We loved staying there! "We chose the hotel for it's convenient location in the city of Orotina , where we were visiting relatives . The staff was good , perhaps a little inattentive on check out. The reception office was closed and I had to look around for someone to return my key. Be advice there's is a very noisy soccer academy right next door . We were alocated on room 11 , close to the academy . It can be an issue if you are trying to rest early evening ."

"This was a great property located right on the beach in Playa Hermosa. The rooms were very clean with ac and nice high ceilings. The staff was friendly and helpful and the view was amazing. Walking distance to many restaurants. Would stay here again if I’m back in the area!"
