"This hotel is absolutely stunning. The staff were remarkably friendly. The art is vibrant and alive with Costa Rican culture. We arrived early and we were greeted with luggage storage, restroom facilities, and absolute kindness. Our room was very spacious and decorated with modern beauty. "We loved our stay here. Our room had plenty of space, it was clean, the kitchen was well equipped and there was great seating in front and back of our unit. We saw macaws, tucans and squirrel monkeys from the front and back patio areas! What a treat. "

"Highly recommend The Retreat hotel! It was gorgeous and the views breath taking. The staff was very attentive and kind. Will definitely go again. The tours were over priced though. ~400 per tour and while the locations were beautiful it was not worth that much money. Also note there is no food you can buy except for in the restaurants there. So grab some snack at the airport. But highly recommend this place. Even in the rainy season it was amazing "

"The room is beautiful and very clean! They are bungalows in the middle of the forest, with breathtaking views. The property caretaker, Tony, is very polite. Strongly recommend this. Just a note, there is no restaurant around so you must drive to the beach or quepos to eat all meals. There is no room service nor any service at the pool. "
