"Two nights using the hotel as a base to visit Nova Gorica and Bled. Breakfast buffet was extensive - continental choices plus scrambled eggs and British sausage. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. The dining room staff sometimes does double duty at registration desk. Lots of tourist information. Bus stop is a 5 minute walk and train station is a couple of minutes longer."

"The hotel was not a good fit for us. It was clean, room and balcony were spacious, the staff was polite, and the view from our balcony was truly spectacular. But it’s on the quiet side of the lake, had an extremely limited restaurant menu (one page total with plenty of white space) the bathtub is poorly configured and the place personified faded beauty. "The air conditioner wouldn’t go below 22, we woke up pouring sweat. Everything was an add-on. Renting a bike for an hour was slightly cheaper than 4 hours; not free for guests. Breakfast for charge, mini bar is full but they’ll email you after your departure to settle that cost as well. Meh."
