Wow, just wow! The location is idyllic and the care and attention from the host, Jure, was amazing. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time during our stay there. Breakfast was the best we’ve ever had, and nothing was too much bother. He also gave us maps of the local area and lots of advice on where to park etc…

This was such a great find! We wish we could have stayed a lot longer. If we visit this area again, we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. The host Jure made us feel so welcome and cared for - thank you so much! 😊 It’s such a cool place - you feel you are on the farm, in a really quiet and peaceful spot. But the apartments themselves are very modern and well equipped. We loved our stay here!

The room was very clean and modern. Nice countryside atmrosphere, and the host was very friendly and helpful. Short distance from both Bled and Bohinj lakes.

Jure was an amazing host! He gave us a map for local hikes. As two female travelers we felt extremely safe. There was even an option to have our laundry done, which we utilized and came back to the apartment with the laundry done and folded. They also cleaned daily and the kitchen was well equipped with glasses, dishes, utensils and cookware. We were able to prepare meals and enjoy our time on the property.

The 2 best things about this stay were the location and staff. The accommodations is situated in a beautiful and serene field with a beautiful waterfall within a 15 minute walk. The location is also right in the middle between Lake Bled and Bohinj Lake which was very convenient. The main town was only 5 minutes away. Jure, the on site manager/staff, was wonderful. He was always available to answer any questions or help with anything that we needed. He would greet us every morning and evening and made us feel very much at home. I highly recommend this stay if you want something intimate and different.

This place is the perfect place between Lae Bled and Lake Bohinj. The experience is best for those that want to be a bit disconnected and feel like they have a place to themselves in Slovenia. There is no restaurant on the property but plenty of options within a 5 minute drive. I found it to be peaceful and relaxing and the staff quite accommodating.

From booking to checkout, nothing was difficult for our extremely accommodating and friendly host Jure! He is clearly very passionate about Bohinj and ensuring an excellent customer experience for his guests, offering great local recommendations. Peacefully location in a valley surrounded by mountains and nature, with a stream nearby that it’s possible to organise fly fishing in, and a family-run dairy next door. Tonnes of bike trails and great restaurant options in nearby towns accessible by car. Accomodation was freshly renovated, very comfortable and large. Breakfast is above and beyond. Would love to stay again!

Jure, the host and owner, has built an amazing refuge to stay at while exploring the lake Bohinj area. Thoughtfully designed over years of work, it's a modern and boutique stay surrounded by the gorgeous charm of the mountains and farms. It is situated in the heart of a working farm, so be prepared for the occasional cow to walk into view as you look at gorgeous surrounding scenery. The location is a 5 minute drive to restaurants and supplies, although keep in mind that stores are not open on Sundays . Clean, modern and well appointed, the rooms are spacious and bright. For an additional and very reasonable fee, Jure also offers an excellent breakfast spread to prepare you for whatever day adventure the area will offer. I will recommend this place to any of my friends travelling in the day.

We had a wonderful stay here. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It’s in a very quiet, peaceful area, conveniently located about halfway between Lake Bohinj and Lake Bled, which made it a great base for exploring. Parking was easy, and the place was simple to find and access. Jure was a fantastic host — very welcoming, helpful, and happy to share recommendations for the area. He also made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. One of the highlights was the night sky, so definitely take some time for stargazing in the evening. We’d love to stay here again when we come back.

Meget smukke omgivelser og kun kort afstand fra både by, bjerge og vandfald. Ejeren var super flink og brugte tid på at forklare de forskellige seværdigheder og hvordan jeg kom frem til dem.

Fantastic place. Jure is a great host and an absolute gentleman. The apartment was modern, clean and well stocked. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area

Eine sehr gemütliche und gepflegte Unterkunft in einer ruhigen, aber dennoch nicht abgelegenen Lage. Der Gastgeber ist stets für seine Göste da und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Unterkunft liegt malerisch an einen kleinen Fluss und nahe beim Bohinj See und beim Bleder See. Alles ist neu gemacht worden und die Zimmer sind recht groß, ebenso das Bad. Man kann vor Ort Frühstück dazu nehmen, es ist reichhaltig. Juri, der Eigentümer hat mir vor Ort viel erklärt und Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge gezeigt.

Great location, a few minutes drive from amenities whilst still being in a beautiful rural location. We stayed in April for four nights in the three bedroom apartment which was perfect for two adults and two teens. The service was amazing, knowledgeable, helpful and thorough. The apartment was cleaned daily and had lovely touches like simple Easter decorations and chocolates on pillows. The location was brilliant for driving to lake Bohinju and Bled.

We had an amazing stay. Jure's place was perfect. It was very clean, well equipped, tastefully decorated, and everything you needed was provided. Jure was lovely, he spent time imparting his knowledge of the local area with ideas and recommendations for us. He always had a smile and a friendly word. We had breakfast, which was delicious! The house itself is in beautiful surroundings, in the mountains with wild flowers in the meadow, a river passing by, and a waterfall a short walk away - idyllic. We loved every second of our stay and the local area.

Un petit coin de bonheur au cœur de la Slovénie

Une ancienne ferme entièrement rénovée avec beaucoup de goût. Les appartements sont très fonctionnels et confortables. On se sent de suite comme chez soi. Le propriétaire est très accueillant et nous a donnés de bons conseils concernant les sites à visiter aux alentours (les lacs de Bohinj et Bled, les Gorges de Vintgar...). Difficile de quitter cette campagne magnifique et ces sommets encore enneigés. On aurait aimé pouvoir prolonger notre séjour.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We truly couldn’t have imagined staying anywhere else, and Domačija Log v Bohinju was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Slovenia. Jurij is, without question, the kindest host I’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel completely at home. He knows absolutely everything there is to do in the Bohinj area and was incredibly generous with his time, helping us put together the perfect three-day itinerary. Every recommendation was spectacular, and we ended up discovering places we never would have found on our own. The apartments and common areas are absolutely immaculate. I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever stayed somewhere cleaner, and that’s saying something. Jurij even puts my mother to shame! The rooms are spacious, comfortable, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The value is also incredible—the pricing is remarkably reasonable for the level of hospitality, comfort, and quality you receive. One of the biggest highlights was renting Jurij’s high-end e-bikes. They are fantastic quality and one of the best ways to explore the valley, nearby villages, and scenic cycling paths. Be sure to ask him about the secret waterfall that mostly locals know about. It was one of our favorite spots in all of Slovenia. The setting is simply breathtaking. Absolut empfehlenswert - ein perfekter Aufenthalt! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dieser wunderbaren Ferienwohnung sehr genossen und können sie uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Lage und Umgebung: Die Ferienwohnung liegt traumhaft auf einem idyllischen Hof mitten in der Natur. Für alle, die den Triglav Nationalpark erkunden möchten, ist die Lage einfach ideal - man ist schnell in der unberührten Bergwelt und kann die Seele baumeln lassen. Unterkunft: Die Wohnung selbst hat uns begeistert: großzügig geschnitten, sehr gut ausgestattet und in einem exzellenten Zustand. Hier merkt man, dass der Gastgeber viel Wert auf Qualität und Komfort legt. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Frühstück und Ambiente: Das Frühstück war ein tägliches Highlight - hervorragend und liebevoll zubereitet. Bei schönem Wetter wird es auf einer wundervollen Terrasse serviert, was den perfekten Start in den Tag garantiert. Gastgeber: Unser Gastgeber war durchweg freundlich und sehr bemüht, unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Ein großer Pluspunkt: Er spricht ausgezeichnet Deutsch und Englisch, was die Kommunikation sehr unkompliziert macht. Fazit: Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt in einer Top-Unterkunft mit einem herzlichen Gastgeber. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
